I did a lot of 1 v 1 and solo multiplayer Halo and always liked exploring the maps. I think the reason they have that extra nostalgic something is because they had to respect the technological limitations of the time. No polygon or pixel could be wasted, so great care was put into the aesthetics. Nowadays we seem to have more focus on realism over style, which is too bad. I don't play video games for reality, give me something fantastical.

Ivarstead is one of my favourite towns in Skyrim to be honest. It feels among the most fleshed out while being the smallest, and it's so peaceful for the plot that it serves. I love the shack across the river :)

I don’t think there’s another game from back around 2001 that has graphics hold up so well. I mean obviously they’ve been far surpassed but they aren’t bad in the sense that you’re constantly thinking about how old the game is.

I think the fact that Vegas was hit with almost as many bombs as DC was because Vegas is one of the key examples of American capitalism in affect. people wasting their money away while trying to get rich, all the while, all of their money is going to a few people, making them very wealthy. I wouldn’t be surprised if a communist nation like China in the Fallout universe would target a city like that out of principle.

So, technically if a "drug dealer" makes money during those 15 hours, does that make them an employer? They are making money and labor, even though it is considered illegal... but drugs are becoming legal. Then you have doctors who do the same thing but have education for it. So, do dealers count as the employed?

I don't care how many jokes and memes people make about Skyrim... To me it'll always be this intense, atmospheric and living breathing game that you can get lost in, as it was when I was younger.

This game is definitely harder, they give you nothing to go off of. But i have some objections. The guy throwing people, why is street hustler not a job. Hes asking for money for a service, the fruit vendors are asking for money for a product. In my book thats the same, street business is still a business. Second, the woman asking you to work for her. Yes I agree in this case its pretty obvious all these people resell fruit, so likely employed. BUT the point there is she needs an employee, so she could be trying to get into the business but no tin the business yet. Once started both of you are employed but until then she is unemployed also

The knubby bits on the edges of Ulfric's table and benches are clearly skate stoppers. No skateboarding in the jarl's great hall.

I think it's less a process of "i only have so much time to work on this game but screw that im gonna make a weird box face" and more of "god they're making me design this shovelware sequel at breakneck pace, and they didn't let me use my weird face texture in ocarina... screw it im gonna add my weird box face this time and they'll never find it."

The town of Megaton is created from the plane that was supposed to drop the bomb, it crashed while carrying its payload, therefor the people used the scrap from the plane (and im assuming a lot more other objects) to create the town, Manya implies it

I remember playing skyrim on my xbox360 all night then looking out the window to see the sun rising... Come to think of it that was just last week...
